The idea for Refresh! as a mobile spa came to mind at a small women's gathering in 2007 in Mazatlan, Mexico. It was my privilege to do massages on the beach during sunset. Oh! How beautiful!!! I was truly content to soak in the beauty around me while helping my friends feel amazing through massage.
Back home in beautiful Wine Country, I developed Refresh! a business that helps people to slow down and savor beautiful moments. My special emphasis is supporting working women to have quiet moments with quality spa treatments. In 2007, Refresh! was born.
Our fast-paced life can leave us exhausted, in pain, and in need of both connection and refreshment. A good massage can melt tension melt away, even if for but a moment.
One of the benefits of owning a small, woman owned business is being able to call the shots. I hire the best and when they are truly amazing, I encourage them to stay with Refresh! I pay my therapists very well. Many of my staff have worked continuously with me for 8-10 years. I treat them well and know they will treat you well in turn.
As the owner of Refresh!, I am also an experienced massage therapist. I pull from many modalities such as trigger point release, swedish, shiatsu, reflexology, deep tissue, and sports massage. What's included? We bring everything needed to make your treatment special: music, sheets, oils, lotions. We focus on organic products.
Do you require a deposit? Once we have a plan for your event, 50% of total services, through PayPal, is required as a deposit. Nothing is confirmed until deposit is received. Cancellations beyond 72 hours window will loose deposit.
When will Refresh! Staff arrive? Staff will arrive approximately 30 minutes before event begins. This way we can set up and be ready to begin on-time! Tables, sheets, creams, oils, towels, and music are provided.
Is there a travel fee? Events 18 miles beyond our home offices in Santa Rosa will incur reasonable travel fees.
Should I tip? As a courtesy to our customers and to our hardworking therapists, we add 20% tip to your final bill. You are more than welcome to adjust this tip at your discretion. Custom arrangements can be easily be made upon request.
What about Pregnant women or those with special needs? Please inform us ahead of time if we will be working with those with special needs.
How much notice before an event do you need? We can plan a better event for you with at least two weeks notice. But, on short notice we will do our best to make it work.
Will we travel to San Francisco? Possibly. Tell us about your event. Together we can determine if it's a good fit.
